“The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God , my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
As I was studying this scripture earlier this morning, the Holy spirit made me think on how God is the ‘horn of our salvation’.
Looking   at   the  dictionary   definition of ‘horn’.  Merriam – Webster Dictionary defines  ‘horn’ as “one of the hard pointed parts that grows on the head of some animals, usually a bony processes that arise from the head of many ungulates and that are found in some extinct mammals and reptiles as one of the permanent paired hollow sheaths of keratin usually present in both sexes of the cattle and their relative that function chiefly fordefence .
Our emphasis lies on the ‘defence’. If the horns in animals is used for defence, therefore God is telling us that He is the defence of our salvation against the wiles and fiery darts of the enemy. We have been salvaged from the enemy and God is …
