GOD'S ABIDING PRESENCE, NOT HIS VISITING PRESENCE BY SADE AKANNI. PART 1
"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. "
God is looking for people who will believe in Him and allow Him to live in them and work through them. God is looking for women who will stand on His behalf here on earth and carry about His life everywhere they go. Whether as married women, single ladies, or as widows, God desires to live in us.
The work of God is this - that you believe in the Lord and allow Him to stay inside of you and to direct and guide your life.
Believe in Him knowing that He has good thoughts and plans for you. He wants you to believe Him and in doing that, you shall find fulfillment in life.
Just believe in Him and allow Him to dwell in you, and work in you both to will and to do His good pleasure knowing that He will not waste your life. That is the work of God; it is not running around doing many things.
Though God will use us to run around, to preach and to pray, these things in themselves are not the work of God. He is looking for women who will bear about His presence in their communities and in various churches.
Jesus wants to live inside you. He does not want to be an ordinary visitor in your life. Thus He says, "Abide in me and I in you". It should not be only when you go to Christian programs that He has space in you...
