GOD OBVIOUSLY TOLD A LIED...

"GOD obviously told a Lie".. 'I beg your pardon'. The statement was made under her breath but it was quite audible to me. "God lied, or He probably died" She didn't as much as look up from her seated position as she spoke. I stared at her. I could tell she was young, and relatively slim, though I couldn't see most of her features. She had been sitting there before I came, and since then she had barely looked up from the paper in her hand. 'Ma'am, I do not think it is good to speak in such manner about God' We were seated in a quiet park under the natural canopy created by trees which stood side by side on both sides. The vision of the sun setting in the horizon was in one word, glorious. A couple sat at a far end of the park, relaxing on the green carpet grass. They were obviously having their own love feast. The evident serenity and beauty in the environment was the primary reason I always came to the park each time

LEARNING HOW TO LEAVE THE BURDEN OF GUILT BEHIND BY JOYCE MEYER.

I used to have a massive problem with guilt. I remember how I suffered with it. It was horrible! I would get up in the morning and wish it was time to go to bed because it was always there…lurking…condemning me with thoughts like this: “You didn’t… You should have… You shouldn’t have… You should know better. You did it again. What do you think you’re doing preaching to other people?” Like I said, it was horrible. But I can honestly say that today, I am completely free from guilt and the condemnation it brings! Now, I’m not saying I don’t do wrong things sometimes. But I have learned the truth about what Jesus did for me, which gives me forgiveness of my sin and keeps me from carrying around the terrible burden of guilt, letting it steal my life day after day. I’ve also learned that it’s good to have a healthy grief about my mistakes but instead of just feeling bad about it, I come to God, admit what I did that was wrong, receive His forgiveness and then move on. The truth

GOD'S ABIDING PRESENCE, NOT HIS VISITING PRESENCE BY SADE AKANNI. PART 1

"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. " John 15:4 God is looking for people who will believe in Him and allow Him to live in them and work through them. God is looking for women who will stand on His behalf here on earth and carry about His life everywhere they go. Whether as married women, single ladies, or as widows, God desires to live in us. The work of God is this - that you believe in the Lord and allow Him to stay inside of you and to direct and guide your life. Believe in Him knowing that He has good thoughts and plans for you. He wants you to believe Him and in doing that, you shall find fulfillment in life. Just believe in Him and allow Him to dwell in you, and work in you both to will and to do His good pleasure knowing that He will not waste your life. That is  the work of God; it is not running around doing many things. Though God will use us t

NEW BORN BABY DUMPED IN A PIT BY HIS MOTHER.

A mother can forget her loving child but God will never forget the child. Such is the case of this baby, who has survived inside the pit after being dumped by his mother; God knows for how long. Here is the story as told by Marble Ezeugwu: "I was driving through the motorway in Niger State and I came across a baby boy that was dumped by her mum inside a pit that’s about 20 feet deep. The baby was brought out of the pit alive. I know that the heartless mother didn’t go down the pit to keep the baby but threw the baby inside. But the handsome baby boy survived the cruelty and he was rescued alive. When it’s not your time to die, nothing and no one can kill you. May this baby grow up to be a testimony in Jesus’ name. Now, I pray for you also. Whatever the enemy has designed to terminate your life, you will overcome it and survive just like this baby survived in the name of Jesus." See pictures:

Mackenson Saintloth rehabilitates 58 year old beggar in Haiti.

Isaiah 58:10  If you give some of your own food to [feed] those who are hungry and to satisfy [the needs of] those who are humble, then your light will rise in the dark , and your darkness will become as bright as the noonday sun. The Bible has made us to understand there is a reward in giving. We are the ambassadors of Christ on earth. As Christians we have to show forth christ-like qualities to our fellow man.  Such is this young man Mackenson Saintloth who met 58 year old Claudianne battered and beaten. With the grace of God, he was able to lift her up. This is what he had to say on his Facebook page: "Before and after: She is called Claudianne Joseph, is 58 years old. We would meet her in the corner with a bowl in hand,(PORT AU PRINCE, HAITI) she would ask, when seeing me, she says ,"Please give me a gift of something to eat." My heart was touched. As I saw her, I learned that she has  breast disease, and the breast would leak blood. She is sick on both of h

DEARLY BELOVED MARRIED MEN.

Be true to yourself, God and your wife. That vow you said out in church should mean something to you. It's a vow you made in the sight of God and to that woman who is your wife today.  When the Bible said "Man love your wife as your own body...". It meant everyone of us want what's best for our body; the best clothes, shoes, etc. A man that loves his own body will not just do any to hurt himself. So, you hurt your wife, you hurt yourself because the two shall become one. A friend of mine who is single, showed me a chat she had with a man on Facebook who is married and I just happened to know him and his wife The chat: Married man:  hey beautiful. I like the posts you make online. It's so inspiring. It's looks like we've met. Have we? Single lady: no we haven't but thanks for the compliment. Married Man: wow! Why so cold. Single lady: cold? How? Married man: just want to know you. I mean no harm. Single lady: really? Just went thro

REACT DIFFERENTLY.

Friends, when you know that someone is out deliberately or not to make you angry, do the opposite by smiling, being happy , being cheerful and being joyful. For if you respond to them in anger, you will be a fool. Ecclesiastes 7:9  says "Be not hasty in thy spirit  to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools." Never give anyone the satisfaction that he/she has succeeded in causing you pain and hurt. Even if you are hurt by it, you could address the issue with the person later; having it in mind that the sun shouldn't go down upon your wrath (Titus 1:7). In essence, you should react differently when faced with a situation that should get you angry. Are you facing a difficult boss or you are faced with a difficult wife/husband at home? Start reacting differently from what he/she is used to. A woman of God once told me that she was facing so many crisis in her home and marriage. She did all she could but it wasn't just working. Then she went back to God in

'LORD, I CANNOT, BUT YOU CAN!’ BY PASTOR JOSEPH PRINCE

Philippians 2:13  for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Have you ever tried to break a bad habit on your own? You probably found that when you tried to stop it by sheer willpower, you saw improvement for a while, and then bounced back to square one. Worse, you found yourself binging on the very thing that you were trying not to do. And your condition is worse than before you started your “I’m going to quit” program! The changes were temporary because it was  you  doing it. A church member who had been a chain-smoker used to believe that with willpower, he could quit smoking. He would tell himself, “If there is a will, there is a way!” But he discovered that with willpower, he could stop smoking for a week or two, and then he would succumb to the pull of nicotine again. When he turned his life over to God and learnt about God’s grace, he told God, “I realize that I cannot stop smoking. I cannot, but You can break my habit, L
